ABOUT US
The West Valley Coalition is a non-profit corporation* organized under the laws of the State of California. The mission of the West Valley Coalition, is stated in our articles of incorporation as follows:
"The specific purpose of this corporation is to act as an umbrella organization coordinating the efforts of other nonprofit and community based organizations serving marginalized communities in the greater Canoga Park / West Valley area and to encourage and support community unity through the promotion of events."
*Our 501(c)(3) Tax ID Number is 86-3625976. We are designated as a public charity per section IRC 509(a)(2). Our designation bears DLN 26053525003661. As a public charity all tax contributions are tax deductible.

There are many ways you can participate in the mission of the West Valley Coalition and your participation is not only greatly appreciated, but absolutely crucial to our meeting our goals. Below is a sampling of ways you can participate:

Attend our Board and Membership meetings to take an active role in influencing future projects.

Paws in Paradise pet sanctuary
Paws in Paradise is a sanctuary for elderly, hospice, and special need pets. It's current campaign is in memory of Sidney W. Berke whose family asked that, per his request, donations be made this organization in lieu of flowers on the occasion of his death. The campaign organizer is Alice Berke.
